Filshie Clip Tubal Ligation System

A system employing a hinged titanium clip lined with silicone rubber which is locked over the fallopian tube resulting in tubal necrosis and, therefore, sterilisation. This system consists of a 7mm or 8mm Filshie Clip applicator, a matching trocar and cannula and, of course, the Filshie Clips themselves. Performed as a laparoscopic gynaecological procedure, this form of female sterilisation results in minimal tubal damage and greater post-operative comfort.
